About

Armo teaches Eastern Armenian.

Արևելահայերեն

Eastern Armenian is the official language of the Republic of Armenia. It is not the same as Western Armenian, which many diaspora communities speak. Armo is built for the Eastern standard: the letters, the sounds, the grammar, and the street-level phrases you need in Yerevan.

Most apps treat Armenian as a novelty alphabet or a tourist deck. Armo is a course. You start in the alphabet studio, move through lessons, review with spaced repetition, talk to an AI tutor, and — when you want a second opinion — open a packed prompt in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or HuggingChat for free.

It is made for English speakers. Every Armenian line shows a transliteration and an English gloss. We do not pretend you already know Cyrillic, and we do not mix Eastern and Western forms.

Guest mode lets you try the alphabet in this browser. Create an account when you want progress, XP, and reviews to follow you.
