Privacy

Armo is a language-learning product. We collect as little as we need to run your account and save your progress.

If you sign up we store your email, a hashed password (never the plaintext), your role, and learning data: lessons completed, XP, streak, SRS cards, and class memberships. That lives in our database (Cloudflare D1).

Sessions use an httpOnly cookie named armo_session. It lasts 30 days, is marked Secure, and uses SameSite=Lax. We use it to know it is you — not to advertise.

If you stay a guest alphabet and early-lesson progress can live in IndexedDB in this browser only. We cannot see that data. Signing up is how you keep it if you switch devices.

The AI tutor sends the conversation you type to our tutor endpoint (Workers AI in production). Do not paste secrets into the tutor. Free LLM packs open another company’s site with a prompt you can see before you send it; their privacy rules apply there.

We do not sell personal data, run ad trackers, or build lookalike audiences. We do not need your phone number or contacts.
